In 2009 the recruitment marketing industry took a hit because of the recession. After being a part of two RIF's (local offices shut down a few months apart), I started my own consulting practice and worked with some great companies such as: Mayor's Jewelers and Miami Dade College. The firm offered guidance and practical solutions to help organizations attract and retain top talent. Specialties included: recruitment marketing & retention strategies; employment branding and human resource communications; social media management, consulting and training.

Responsible for high-level client strategy, P & L, account team leadership and new business development for the Ft Lauderdale office of NAS - a leading HR communications company with locations throughout the United States and Canada.

Lead the start-up of the recruitment advertising division for ad agency specializing in yellow pages. I was responsible for developing all processes and procedures; new business development; hiring and training the account management staff and client retention.

Hands-on management of all company marketing efforts including recruitment and business to business advertising, public relations, community service, corporate event planning, internal and external communications and forms and supplies for staffing company (multiple locations throughout FL and the Dallas area) headquartered in Coral Gables, FL. I also served on the executive committee and quality council.
