Fixed Asset Accountant responsibilities: Accounting control of fixed asset register (worth c.£1bn, 32,000 assets, across 15 companies), capital projects and development projects to ensure accuracy and integrity of records and systems Motivate, direct and develop the Fixed Asset Analyst Ensure timely execution of month end activities, including processing depreciation and related reporting (.i.e. CAPEX Report, Profit or Loss on Disposal Report) Reconcile Fixed Asset sub-ledger to trial balance. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations Produce Fixed Asset grids, reconciliations of additions, disposals (including Profit/Loss) and depreciation to consolidated financial results for Statutory Accounts and tax department calculations Formulate analytical data and financial modelling and produce forecasts, strategic plans and budgets Ensure compliance with company policies and SOx. Improved Fixed Asset departments’ internal audit result from scores of 49% and 88% in 2008 to two 100% scores respectively for Fixed Asset and Investment Control modules in 2011 Implement controls, develop templates and improve processes Financial analysis as required by Operations, Strategic Planning, Country President etc.  Planning and executing projects to deadlines i.e. Physical Existence Verification of assets projects and annual impairment exercises Managed 4 information systems migrations between SAP platforms (Fixed Asset sub-ledger and full P&L and Balance Sheet) Oversaw transition to IFRS (from MexGAAP) of Fixed Assets. Included meeting with and presenting to appraisal company Building and maintaining relationships within the business, internal and external auditors Responsible for quarterly and annual National Statistics Questionnaire returns for Fixed Assets Authorising access to Fixed Asset SAP transactions Level 2 I.T. support for Fixed Asset and Costing queries

Fixed Asset Analyst responsibilities: maintaining the Fixed Asset register, processing additions, transfers, retirements and disposals  strict entering of approved budgets for CAPEX projects in SAP timely capitalisation of Assets Under Construction and in line with policy  monitor development projects ensuring costs capitalised or written off to P&L as necessary

Credit Control responsibilities: chased debt effectively for a ledger of 500 customers via telephone, fax and email built and maintained strong customer relationships through helpful and efficient service held additional responsibility to raise credit notes where required and run reports for the team
