    My postdoctoral research focused on microearthquakes (-4 < magnitudes < 3) recorded by a three-dimensional array in TauTona gold mine in South Africa (see Boettcher, Kane, et al., 2015, BSSA).• Wrote GUI-based Matlab code for picking peak amplitudes of seismic phases.• Developed Matlab code for moment tensor analysis using picks of peak amplitudes.• Expanded dataset of earthquakes (-2 < magnitude < 3) with full moment tensor solutions.• Analyzed polarization of waveform data to determine rotation corrections for stations with incorrect orientation information.• Designed and performed extensive analyses to verify data quality.• Tested application of relocation algorithms to mine seismicity for associating earthquakes with individual mapped structures within the mine.Teaching:• Co-instructor for Fall 2013 UNH graduate course ESCI 859 (Geological Oceanography). Prepared and taught 5 lectures.• Co-instructor for Fall 2011 UNH undergraduate course ESCI 401 (Dynamic Earth).
