Well-being and Activities Co-ordinator (Head of Department) for a brand new, prestigious 80-bedded Avery care home in Bournville, Birmingham. Responsible for designing and implementing a whole-home approach to resident well-being, person-centred activity care planning and links with the wider community.

Activities Lead for Gracewell of Edgbaston, including creating a varied weekly timetable of stimulating and meaningful activities, facilitating sessions and organising sessions from visiting facilitators, event organisation, creating personal activity care plans including life stories and preferences, promoting the function of activity within a care home setting, liaising with staff, relatives and external providers.

Providing person-centred activity and meaningful occupation within a 60 bed home for older adults. I specialise in activity delivery for older adults with mild to moderate dementias.
