The HR Generalist role was focused primarily on transactional HR functions such assisting with HRIS administration (UltiPro), leaves of absence/FMLA, unemployment, onboarding, managing the company’s fleet safety program (drivers), processing wellness reimbursements and emergency loans, and COVID vaccine tracking and supporting community office managers with their HR related duties. Responded to team member and manager inquiries sent to the HR email inbox, managed employment verifications (and recertifications) in E-Verify and worked with managers to resolve numerous tentative non-confirmation cases. During the 4 months I was at Merrill, through my auditing, I discovered two employees who were not authorized to work in the U.S. and their employment was subsequently terminated.
