Double majoring in Management and Accounting, I am excited to start my career journey in auditing, where I can better understand all the financial fundamentals of a company or organization. I believe having an experience in auditing will provide me a good foundation for my professional development.As an international student from São Paulo, Brazil, I am glad to be sharing my background and experiences in the Global Peers Mentorship, working as the VP of Events to ensure a good college experience for all international students at Kelley. Being a polyglot also contributes to a successful customer service delivery at Lilly Library, once my job as a Reference Attendant allows me to interact with students from all around the world. This job enhances not only my communication skills, but my cross-cultural and multi-tasking skills.More about me, I am fascinated by factors that influence decision-making and data analysis. I have been perfecting these skills through advanced Microsoft Excel classes at the Kelley School of Business, to financially plan and analyze a company's strengths and weaknesses and propose successful strategies to achieve internal goals. I am glad to be exercising just that in my role as a Finance Director for the IU Chapter of ALPFA.Finally, I am deeply passionate about mentoring roles. On campus, I lead a group of fourteen girls for Chi Alpha Campus Ministries to create a community and environment that is safe and inclusive for their personal, professional, and spiritual development. Moreover, I am a VITA volunteer, assisting international students at Indiana University to fill out their tax reports. These roles develop my leadership, team management, and critical thinking skills.
