About Deborah Mcarthur

I have over 20 years of experience in science education. I am passionate about natural history, the environment and inspiring connection to the amazing natural world in which we live. I have worked with all ages, both in and out of the classroom, particularly enjoying working in the field and teaching using inquiry, multi-sensory and hands-on activities.I am also a skilled writer, using words to engage audiences through articles, interpretive panels and curricula. My connection to science topics is diverse - from marine ecology to astronomy, flight science and chemistry to geology. I especially enjoy crossing science disciplines to connect the physical, biological and chemical components of the natural world.
