Primary area of practice: personal injury litigation. Handles all aspects of personal injury civil litigation from pre-complaint investigation through trial.

Counsel as of 1/1/2002. Advised clients on a variety of corporate issues including strategic alliances, mergers & acquisitions, patent licenses, a tender offer and other general corporate matters. Routinely advised prominent airline alliance regarding corporate issues ranging from internal alliance governance to establishment of foreign corporations. Worked closely with large pharmaceutical company to acquire assets for patent licenses to diagnostic product line. Worked with major telecommunications companies regarding drafting and negotiation of multi-billion dollar settlement agreement.

On temporary detail from SEC. Participated in investigation of day trading industry and its practices. Testified before the Subcommittee in hearing “Day Trading: Everyone Gambles But The House” (106th Congress, 2d Session, S. Hrg. 106-505) regarding process, scope and findings of investigation.

Conducted investigation of international Securities fraud scheme, culminating in S.E.C. v Lewis Rivlin, et al. (D.D.C). Investigated Regulation D offering and assisted U.S. Attorney's office with related criminal investigation. Worked closely with Assistant Director to coordinate two microcap fraud "sweeps" involving approximately 30 separate actions across the United States.

Represented companies and individuals under investigation, involved in litigation, or involved in international transactions and alliances.

Worked on cases and assignments in commercial litigation, including insurance coverage, bankruptcy and securities.
