Developed curriculum and taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes focused on Writing and Reading Strategies. Assessed and tracked ELL language development and growth using formative and WIDA Access assessments. Managed and monitored 40 students for Limited English Proficiency (LEP caseload). Yilan, Taiwan

The Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) program in Taiwan promoted English language instruction in Taiwan and to provided cultural exchange opportunities for U.S. ETAs and the people in Taiwan. Developed, planned, and collaborated on lessons with 7 local English teachers to implement English language curriculum for over 500 students. Placed in two separate schools (Fu-Xing Junior High and Xing-Zhong Junior High) for the duration of the year and taught 10 class periods at each. Coordinated pen pal project with Taiwanese English Club students and American students in New Orleans.
