As the trainer it is my responsibility to ensure new staff are able to complete each area of their job in a safe and effective manner. They are taught to open and close the cafe, prepare food and coffee for customers and to operate the register and eftpos. They are also taught appropriate customer service to ensure our customers always get the best service we can provide.

My duties include customer service, preparing and cooking food, making coffee, cash handling/eftpos, balancing the register, training new staff, opening and closing, cleaning.

My role at Wishbone was primarily customer service. I was responsible for preparing the chickens for roasting, ensuring that all product was properly displayed, measuring quantities, serving customers, cash handling/eftpos, banking and cleaning at the end of the day.

At Red Cross I was a volunteer with their Good Start Breakfast Program. I prepared and cooked healthy breakfasts for school aged children. It has always been important to me that children should be given a proper start to the day to aid them in learning and with this program I was able to give a lot of children that very start.
