Nothing motivates me more than being able to work with intelligent people to develop solutions for complex challenges. I approach my work with a balance of curiosity and excitement to share knowledge. This, coupled with building trust across organizations and taking my work, but not myself, seriously, have been my keys to success.I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to champion and pilot new strategic initiatives that utilize a variety of the latest technologies and services to identify ways for an established industry to innovate and better serve end users and stakeholders. This has allowed me to seize opportunities to expand impactful offerings while continuing to deliver on the brand’s promise. I’m proud to deliver innovative solutions without sacrificing existing values of the organization and quality that end users expect.I have had the privilege to spend two decades in the world of scientific publishing, which provided me first-hand experience of the positive impact web migrations and journal (re)launches can have on entrenched models. The projects I’ve led helped produce high impact results including:- Piloting AI-generated personas to better understand our user base- Managed migration of 12 journals to a new version of platform in 2012, http to https migration for 15 journals in 2018, and migration of 18 websites to a new, single platform in 2021 to continuously modernize offerings and improve scalability- Drove resources and training to enable automation of content review that lead to a reduction of manual review time by ~ 26%- Updated and streamlined quarterly and annual usage reporting to better communicate website trends and performance to internal stakeholders- Launched 4 open access journals in 6 years
