Supervise all licensed personnel, which includes two LPN and three RN on 24 bed skilled nursing unit. Make patient assignment for all staff based on acuity. Control ancillary staff, unit secretary, nursing assistants and environmental services, to meet the needs of the unit without unsettling care delivered. Formulate care rounds with professional team, family members, and patients to implement variances in plan of care or discharge planning. Discuss unit control measures with DON, suggesting areas for development and or needs of patients and staff.
