I'm excited to continue my work with CCFA in this new position. As a National Take Steps Manager, I will be working with 9 chapters - Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Northeast New York, and Northwest New York. My focus will be on continuing to grow Take Steps in 23 walk sites, especially in the area of regional and national sponsorships. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), is a private, non-profit national organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. CCFA sponsors basic and clinical research of the highest quality, offers a wide range of educational programs for patients and health care professionals, and provides supportive services to patients and family members. My responsibilities include: implementation of CCFA’s mission through programs, fundraising events and board and volunteer development; cultivation of partnerships and alliances that will promote growth and awareness within the community; overseeing Taking Steps (premier event of CCFA); etc.

Direct & oversee all projects and programs instituted or participated in by OSERA.Manage the development, procurement and distribution of educational materials for K-12th. grade students & teachers.Develop service programs (e.g., IACUC training programs, IRB Forum, etc.) to meet the needs of member organizations.Conduct outreach programs for science teacher organizations at both the state and local levels.
