About Deborah Siegel-Acevedo

I write. And I help others find their voices, tell their stories, and share their ideas. GIRL MEETS VOICE, INC. is my boutique coaching firm for individuals and organizations on a mission to make change through words. I'm a coach/advisor/mentor/consultant, an educator, and a trainer and curriculum developer with experience spanning university, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. I help individuals and teams find and sustain their creative life's work. I have a track record of founding or furthering "crossover" initiatives at the intersection of writing, community, and higher education. In all my endeavors, I aim to cultivate learning communities that foster engagement, well being, and growth.Endlessly curious and an advocate of writing as a means to connect, I’m currently working on my third book, a collection of linked essays. I live in the Chicago area with my family, two cats, a lizard, and, at times, a Great Pyrnees.www.girlmeetsvoice.com (coaching/consulting site)www.deborahsiegelphd.com (author site)
