Dr. Deborah W. Proctor is an independent education technology consultant. Known for her work in numerous projects and initiatives related to curriculum, faculty development, education technology, open education resources (OER), and the issues and priorities of online learners she has 23+ years of work experience in higher education and postsecondary education. Proctor currently seeks Board Member opportunities, remote, interim, and short-term project based positions in higher education. Interested in collaborative and individual projects within higher education and K-12 —especially work focused oninterim appointments, and part-time Teacher Ed faculty positions. Willing to serve, team, and lead oganizations on projects related to quality endeavors— especially those focused on improving quality in online and digital learning. Proctor serves on accreditation teams for the Higher Learning Commission, AdvancED, and is a program reviewer for Minnesota Department of Education’s three year review process. A frequent presenter at conferences on online and digital learning and the use of and collaborations in open education resources (OER) she enjoys virtual speaking opportunities through the MERLOT Virtual Speakers Bureau.
