As I look back on my career to date, I realize I have started something new and innovative in each clinical position. I enjoy and am skilled at creating structure and systems that allow for an effective flow of services and operations. I always approach every situation, whether providing therapy, supervision, or trying to solve a systemic challenge, by remembering that people do well if they can. If they are not doing well, I seek to understand why. Curious by nature, I enjoy the problem-solving aspect of working with clients, supervisees, or administrative teams. A great day is one where I am able to partner with people and work together to consider situations from a different lens. It is so rewarding to see this new awareness lead to an a-ha moment or a newfound ability to move forward. When designing and offering trainings or a consulting plan, I start by clarifying desired outcomes and considering what is important to the audience. I focus on what is practical to the audience's needs or professional development. I want people to leave each training or consultation with knowledge or ideas they can immediately put into practice. In order to improve future trainings or consultation, I follow up with surveys and ask for participant feedback. You can reach me at: bunceconsulting@gmail.com
