Macaulay Centres for Children (MCC) is a dynamic charitable organization organization committed to helping all children reach their full potential and thrive. Knowing that the best way to help a child succeed is to engage the child’s parents, family and broader community, MCC has been providing licensed child care programs and services for children and those closest to them for over 90 years.As Interim CEO, I worked alongside the Board and Senior Management Team on strategic projects and strategy implementation while ensuring continuity of good governance and positive organizational momentum while the Board sought it's next permanent CEO. Transitionning to Executive Advisor when the new CEO was announced, it was an honour to support onboarding the new CEO to successfully prepare to navigate Macaulay's next chapter at this exciting time of organizational growth.

The Learning Partnership's (TLP) mission was to prepare today's students to become tomorrow's problem solvers and changemakers. Launched in 1993, TLP was a national Canadian charitable organization with a 29-year history of delivering innovation programs nationally to publicly-funded education by catalyzing collaboration across Education, Business and Government in the service of students, Educators and Executive Administrators. In my role as President & CEO, I led the organization through significant organizational transformation. These initiatives include: strengthening governance and financial practices, evidence-based strategic planning, streamlining operations and, over the course of the global pandemic, transforming partnerships and programs through the lenses of global innovation, student impact, and diversity, equity and inclusion. In June 2022, despite significant success, we made the difficult decision for a rapid wind down of the organization due to forward looking financial constraints. We navigated this successfully by prioritizing continuation of our mission, care for our staff and the legacy of our reputation across our national stakeholders. In the autumn of 2022, TLP's four student innovation programs (Take Our Kids to Work, Entrepreneurial Adventure, Coding Quest and Welcome to Kindergarten) were successfully transferred to four Canadian organizations (Students Commission of Canada, Let's Talk Science, Pinnguaq and Canadian Education Warehouse) to amplify the impact of TLP's innovation programs for future students and Educators. TLP publicly wound down as an organization in December 2022.

CFTC's mission is to unlock the potential of children through community-led action in Canadian Indigenous communities and around the world including Bolivia, Ethiopia, Ghana and Uganda. I championed the strategic transformation of CFTC from 'charity to change agent' transitioning to a long term view to deliver measurable long-term change for children, youth and the communities they live in with a particular focus on the empowerment of girls and women. Key areas of focus were food security, child education, building community capacity and leadership through community-led impact-focused programming respecting the local culture, tradition and wisdom of First Nation's communities in Canada as well as communities in Bolivia, Ethiopia, Ghana and Uganda. During my tenure, CFTC became an award winning organization. In 2018 CFTC was recognized by the Financial Post & Charity Intelligence for the third year in a row as one of the Top Canadian Charities in terms of accountability, transparency and excellence in reporting impact. CFTC also achieved repeat accreditation with the Imagine Canada Standards Program for Good Governance in 2013 and 2018 ~ consistently demonstrating excellence in board governance, financial accountability, fundraising (with private donors and institutional funders), international staff management and volunteer involvement.

Right To Play is a global humanitarian and development organization using the transformative power of sport and play to educate and empower children facing adversity. I worked alongside Johann Koss, the Founder & President, through the rapid start up and growth of Right To Play to establish a global organization with representation and programs in over 30 countries. II Working in some of the most difficult and dangerous places alongside UNHCR and UNICEF with the goal to help children impacted by war and conflict to stay safe and thrive through the highest values of sport and the power of play.In my initial role as Executive Director I led the development of foundational global fundraising and marketing communications strategies for corporate and government funders as well as developing related organizational policies and protocals.In my role as Chief Program and Policy Officer, I was the global lead on program partnerships with national and international funders, responsible for the expansion of international programs with UNHCR and UNICEF, with oversight for global and national staff and volunteers, program development, and research and policy initiatives.

Pacha Partnerships was a private business consultancy working with government, private sector, environmental and social change organizations to build institutional capacity and to support responsible business practices. Mariposa was a Canadian creative marketing/ communications agency serving Fortune 100 clients providing strategic and creative multi media solutions for internal and external corporate, sales and marketing communications initiatives. In my role as Vice President, I led the Corporate Communications (non-pharma) business including strategic planning, business development, senior client relationship development, new business initiatives, team leadership and overall organizational growth.
