My work history has always been centered around the Hospitality Industry. In December of 2013, I completed 20 years with The Palm, starting as a server and then moving from Training Specialist to Manager to Director, before becoming the Vice President of Training for all Palms. My main responsibility was to ensure we exceeded our guests' expectations, for both internal and external guests. We did this by offering the best food, service, and hospitality to our guests. That all began with Training.In May of 2016, I joined Not Your Average Joe's as the Senior Director of Training and Development. I enjoyed my brief tenure with this growing and successful brand. NYAJ's has 27 locations. . This is a company that values its guests above all else, both external and internal, and prides itself on great food, consistency in everything, innovation, and having fun! Not Your Average Joe's restaurants are the defining standard in creative, casual cuisine, and I was honored to join their ranks. I left the company in November of 2016 but continue to work with NYAJ's as an independent contractor, to support and contribute to their training initiatives.In February of 2017 I joined Pheast Food Group as their Director of Talent Development. I was with them for six months and in that short time, I left my mark, helping to open three restaurants, and developing a plethora of new materials and programs for all Pheast restaurants. I am also continuing to work with PHEAST and Thompson Hospitality in a consulting capacity. Since I left Thompson in 2017, I have been working for myself as a training consultant. I enjoy the perks of working independently and I am fortunate to have a number loyal and repeat clients, as well accruing new business regularly through referrals and word of mouth. Mostly I do compliance/ safety training, but I also author materials and help open local restaurants. Hospitality is truly my passion.
