Currently a project manager and print buyer for a graphic arts manufacturer’s representative, and personally responsible for managing projects with high end clients, including most major Universities, museums and visual/performing arts theaters in Chicago. Responsibilities include soliciting bids, providing estimates to the client, intake of artwork, manage vendors, facilitate the delivery of proofs, intake proofs, and proof internally, attend press checks, and schedule and facilitate delivery of the final project.

Responsibilities include being the project manager for $4 million worth of printing and packaging projectsannually. I initiate all new projects and follow them through to completion. I award purchase orders for contract services, spec jobs to the outside vendor, facilitate the sending of proofs, follow up on approvals and internally proof projects.

Responsibilities included intake of all new projects, facilitating the shipment of proofs, follow up with the client regarding approvals and changes, calculating alteration fees, and preparing the job for billing. I acted as the single point of contact after initial job entry. I worked directly with high profile clients on their projects and deadlines to ensure accuracy, quality of print, and adherence to their deadlines.
