Debra Greene is a Executive Director at College of Southern Maryland. As a director and now Associate Vice President, she has consistently led with compassion and a unique understanding of the higher education enterprise -- from grants management to athletic administration. Debra's background has allowed her to prepare her team to anticipate the needs of leadership, and the expectations with the trends around retention and student success, and then allowed her team to make judgment calls about how best to implement ideas that met the unique needs of this organization. In working for and with Debra, she has led the organization through multiple Perkins (Title V) grant cycles, TRIO (Title IV) Student Support Services grants, and developed multiple programs that served students and families from diverse backgrounds. Debra has also provided for her team, colleagues, and professionals across the nation a space to vent, share, and allow them to engage in a brave space."
