As a dispatcher, I found loads for our trucks. I found loads and calculated which loads paid best per mile, and per stop, in order to find the most lucrative loads. I obtained company info for the brokers with whom we worked and created files for each company. I also created contracts for each load, faxed them to the companies, had them signed and dated, confirming each deal. I kept in contact with drivers making sure loads were running on schedule and delivered on time, and notified each driver of subsequent loads and contracts.

As Operations Manager, I was in charge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. I balanced the company bank account and Mr. Gorog's personal bank account. I was also responsible for updating forms, keeping logs and files of all of the companies with which we worked and contracted under. I updated employee information, informed employees of new policies and rules, found loads for trucks, and dispatched drivers for their loads. I had to stay on top of contacting drivers to get updates on each load and their locations. I routed them to keep track of mileage to make sure drivers stayed on route and on time on each load; sent T-checks to drivers or loaded their cards with money for fuel, oil, maintenance, etc.; and made sure there were more loads for empty trucks to bring back upon return.

I made sandwiches and salads for the day. I prepared coffee, and set up soda fountains. I cooked rotisserie chickens, made friend chicken and made several other foods to be sold in the hot case during the day. I sliced all of the deli meats and cheeses. As customers approached, I greeted them with a smile and asked how I may help them today and proceeded to fulfill their needs. I also prepared deli trays of veggies, sandwiches, salads, etc. If customers needed help in neighboring departments, I would call for a backup and or go help them wherever needed. I also did some cake decorating in the bakery when no employees were there to help customers.

I helped customers with choosing poses and portrait packages to suit their needs and wants. I set up shoots with backgrounds, props, seating and lighting to best enhance their look. I edited, cropped, and enhanced their photos according to the customers desires for final printing. I sat with the customers and explained how each package would benefit them.
