Sales and customer service

Front desk associate providing superior customer service to members of the Northeast's largest health club company. This is a part-time position. (I am currently still employed with Town Sports International but Linkedin does not allow placement of this job)

Responsible for selling company’s patented moisture analyzers worldwide; performed warm sales calls to previous engineer and scientist customers to sell additional product; performed sales follow-up on behalf of the technical and independent sales representatives; delivered technical assistance on parts and provided pricing to customers; conducted customer satisfaction calls; created log to track the status and location of product demonstration and rental units; assisted production department with their weekly shipment goals; assisted shipping department with organizing of air export documentation; provided back-up for accounts receivable department; rebuilt, maintained and updated award-winning customer database; planned parties for company functions; and attended domestic trade shows and hosted foreign suppliers while visiting corporate office

Responsible for importing roofing materials from Asia, tracking shipments from overseas to the United States; processing ocean import documentation; assisting department management with account receivables, reports and correspondence; acting as liaison between carriers and customers; processing order entry and preparing invoices for billing; and providing back-up for customer service department.

Sold ridge ventilation and moisture management products; supported outside representatives with lead calls, appointments, email correspondence; sending out product information packets; managed multiple customer accounts; and processed orders
