Analyst/Consultant to the US Navy on Aviation Manning and Manpower

Reported directly to Program Manager and functionally reported to the Corporate Quality Manager on matters related to all areas of Navy MH-60 R/S lesson development for pilots and aircrew. Areas of responsibility included:• Conducting on-site quality training tailoring directly to project challenges• Ensuring production teams perform a final QA on every product before it is delivered to the customer• Ensuring that all components of the MH-60R/S TSD production teams are following the quality standards, processes, and procedures established for the project by the Corporate QM working in concert with the PMs as documented in the Quality Assurance Plan and as they become solidified during initial product development• Capturing and tracking QA rework codes/reasons• Analyzing data for patterns to derive metrics for monitoring/ensuring quality process improvement• Coordinating Quality process improvement team efforts to derive root causes for identified challenges, implementing solutions, and tracking effectiveness of those solutions

Managed a diverse group of people in performing jobs as aircraft mechanics, electricians, structural repairmen, survival equipment technicians, ordnance-men, and administration. Implemented technical and safety instructions. Developed and provided training in various areas that include education benefits, roles and responsibilities, ethics, standards and regulations. Performed audits and inspections. Created reports, presentations and debrief documents. Performed career and performance counseling and written evaluation.
