Debra has over 30 years of engineering experience in both the aerospace and automotive industries. Debra joined Raytheon (Hughes) in 1996 at H E Microwave a joint venture between Hughes and General Motors, where she was the Reliability and Quality Engineering Manager. Debra is a Subject Matter Expert in multiple Specialty Engineering disciplines including Reliability Engineering, Robust Design, Statistical Design, and Design for Six Sigma. She is especially recognized for her expertise in Systems Reliability Analysis including reliability requirements allocation, system and subsystem FMECAs, and causal analysis. Debra has worked with numerous design teams focusing on cycle time reduction, performance optimization and design margin analysis, and reliability and yield improvements. Debra graduated from the University of Arizona with a master’s degree in reliability and quality engineering (1995) and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering (1988).
