Coached a high potential Generation Y employee who quickly enhanced his leadership skills. He was promoted 3 months earlier than scheduled based on his organizational vision and executive coaching as told to me by the President of the organization.

Served as Account Director to evaluate and make recommendations for Good Shepherd’s human resources function. After recruiting a consulting team of human resource professionals, we first interviewed board members, the CEO, and senior staff. We then conducted focus groups at different managerial levels and with all human resources staff. As a result, we suggested 3 different possible interventions to facilitate change. Senior management chose to focus on a total reorganization of their department. During this process both the Human Resources Director and Vice President of Human Resources resigned. The consulting team designed a new partnership model for the department aligning with Good Shepherd’s strategic plan. Simultaneously, I facilitated an Appreciative Inquiry session with all of human resources to assist the developing reorganization. In the session, staff designed on their own, an organizational design similar to the one suggested by our consulting team. A new human resources director was hired and a new organizational design implemented. Good Shepherd’s Associate Executive Director wrote in 2015, “[New HR Director] hired 2 full time Recruiters which has had a tremendous impact on our ability to serve the staffing needs of our programs. He has also created an ‘Operations team’ which has created greater efficiencies, streamlining processes significantly. One of our most talented team members was promoted to Assistant Director, overseeing the HR Operations area. We’ve launched our new ADP system and will be leveraging its functionality to improve many aspects of our work. There is also a renewed sense of customer service and collaboration between HR and the program staff. So, all in all, it has been a tremendously positive year! And we want to say again how grateful we are to all of you for your dedication and commitment to helping Good Shepherd with this project.”
