Communicate with Management, Supervisors, Clerical, Production and other Technicians to assure quality products and avoid critical downtime. Crossed trained in three areas of the QA Department: Analytical, Micro and the QA Clerk Position, and fill in when needed. Maintain excellent organizational, time management, planning skills and try to improve in these areas whenever possible. Implemented reference binders with guidelines and instructions for different areas of testing, and developed an instruction log/cover sheets for outside testing and customer preships. Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment. Perform analysis of in process/finished products, raw materials, outside testing and insure proper documentation. Conduct reviews on production lines, and help with plant environmental testing. Update and maintain the Material Safety Data Sheet binders for our plant. Help keep track of and prepare purchase order forms for ordering QA lab supplies. Enter the emailed and scan the hard copy Vendor Coa's into a shared file. Purge, rotate and move old files to storage room at the end of each year. Assist in training new employees within the QA Department, and help with problems or other questions that may arise within our department. Played a major part in setting up and following through with our bi-annual Proficiency Testing program for Quality Assurance and Production Employees.

Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment. Prepare samples for flavor testing. Perform analysis of raw materials, in process/finished products, and insure proper documentation. Also performed SAP data entry.

Insure production to quality standards for each customer. Sample and test for viscosity, specific gravity, pH, titrations, plating for microbiological analysis, along with other testing. Conducted reviews on packaging lines for proper weight, torque, codes, etc. Insured proper documentation and maintained files.
