· Ensure that the Customer Service Department provides a pro-active, value-added service to all internal and external customers. · Ensure that all overseas paperwork, Import/Export Licenses/Kewill documents etc. are completed to the required standard.· Provisions of weekly reports — statistics, status report and metrics. Monthly activity reports for CRM.· Assess customer requirements and advise as to appropriate product technology and service options.· Ensure all orders are registered on to the IFS system accurately and efficiently.· Determine priority deliveries for all customers, in conjunction with production and sales management.· Liaise with production planning, warehouse, dispatch and sales staff.· Manage and train staff in appropriate customer service attitudes, policies and techniques.· Ensure customer complaints are dealt with appropriately.· Ensure that products are dispatched on time in line with delivery and all import/export requirements are met.· Ensure that CRM Package is fully utilized.· Ensure Customer Service Representatives are fully conversant with IFS, Company Products and cross-trained to enable them to alternate between roles.· Ensures high level of reasonable care and due diligence with responsibilities for import/export compliance· Administers export regulations and company policies applicable to all products to include ITAR, BIS, OFAC, Anti-boycott and U.S. Customs laws and regulations.· Perform continual review and analysis of U.S. government and international trade regulations to ensure company compliance. . Investigate issues deemed necessary through coordination with legal counsel to resolve in an expedient manner.· Oversee export invoices and certificates of origin for shipments to customers overseas· Assure company imports satisfy all compliance requirements including proper valuation, tariff classification, country of origin determination and marking, record keeping, and special trade program qualification.
