I have recently completed the American Bar Association certified paralegal program and am looking forward to using my newly honed skills in the role of a paralegal, legal assistant or legal secretary.

Editor, Urban Aging NewsAugust 2016-presentEdit and write stories for this exciting, relatively new, quarterly publication which focuses on our senior citizens and those that care for them. Stories are filled with resources, interviews with those that work diligently to help seniors maintain their independence and self respect.

Created this upstart publication from the ground up with very little input from upper management and made it a success. During my tenure, readers refered to this publication as "the people's paper" and appreciated the honesty, integrity and strict high journalistic standards I put into place while at the helm.

Edited copy for all sections of this weekly publication, proof read pages before going to press, rewrote headlines and occasionally wrote stories as assigned. Was promoted in 2011 to editor of the upstart publication, the St. Clair Shores Connection newspaper.

Worked with the Public Affairs Department in creating feature stories, brochures, print- ready press releases, the facility's newsletter and special projects designed to promote college programs and amplify its image.
