Working as part of the group responsible for updating the clinical guidance for the assessment and initial management of feverish illness in children younger than 5 years of age. The role involved representing parents and carers views throughout the development of research questions and evidence analysis to ensure the needs and views of children, parents and carers were considered and that their views were taken into account in the final guideline.

Acted as brand guardian for both the ASA and the Committee of Advertising Practice, to ensure consistency across design and house style.

Managing ‘Radiology’ an annual multi-disciplinary radiological Congress which attracted up to 2000 delegates. In my first year of taking responsibility for the running of the event I increased income from registrations, sponsorship, advertising and industrial donations to ensure the event made a profit (whereas in the previous year it had run at a loss). Designed and managed databases to facilitate registrations, speaker and event chair logistics and the submission, vetting and publishing of abstracts and medical poster exhibits. Responsible for the Congress social programme which included an evening reception and dinner for 400 guests.
