Century Exploration sold it's Oklahoma and Northern Texas assets to Newpek in November. I am currently working on production allocation, correlations, and a drilling program in the Bend Arch area of Texas. Added Central Kansas well information and raster logs to existing Oklahoma Petra database. Working to tie geological correlations between previous work in Osage County, Oklahoma to our new drilling area in Stafford County, Kansas.

Built and populated seven Petra databases. Geological correlations, data mining, cross-sections and mapping for Kansas-Oklahoma project and the San Joaquin Basin. Designed a process to evaluate multiple complex production histories for Osage County, Oklahoma and performed production allocation resulting in 217 additional PUD locations.

Enhanced the Altamont-Bluebell Petra database by mining 1650 well files and mud logs for all drilling information, shows, completion, and production histories resulting in successful well recompletions. Assisted land and geological staff in preparing for a critical increased well density hearing. Working with engineering to design and populate a recompletion look-back database. Generate pre-drill hazard and rock strength displays for drillers. Lower Green River and Wasatch correlations and structure and isopach mapping.

Built twelve Petra projects with IHS, Tobin, GDS, and seismic data and transferred pertinent information from nine GeoGraphix projects into Petra. Closely examined over 100 well files and extracted all historical information and complex completion histories. Correlated geophysical logs for over one hundred fifty wells and mapped structure and gross and net thicknesses for nine complex carbonate intervals and tied the results to seismic. Calculated allocated production from lease based production for a large Permian basin field. Assisted in the design and implementation of a large well file scanning project, and supervised seven co-workers in the scanning and classifying portions of the project. In charge of ordering, processing and loading all geological data.

Main responsibility was supplying consulting and technical support services for several coal, titanium, phosphate, iron ore, and gold mining companies. Designed, documented, and taught two training courses on Vulcan 3D mining software; “Introduction to Vulcan” and a five-day advanced course, “Stratigraphic Modeling and Reserve Estimations.” Additional responsibilities include software documentation, testing, and international travel. Submitted a geologic modeling paper and was a guest lecturer at the Florida Phosphate Conference in 2002.

Geologist on a ten-year development project of Madden field in the Wind River Basin, Wyoming. The work involved extensive correlation of formation tops and mapping of highly fractured/faulted continental and marine formations. Analyzed and correlated over 300 geophysical logs. Evaluated over forty years of drilling, completion, and production records and generated a digital database that included all pertinent information, including fracture intervals interpreted from mud logs, and all well log correlations. Evaluated behind pipe reserves and proposed infill drilling locations with a proven record of success. Performed investigations involving field site evaluations, measuring outcrops, and collecting rock samples. Worked closely with the geophysicist to tie the correlations into 2-D and 3-D seismic. Projects included geologic modeling and the construction of computer generated subsurface cross-sections and structure, isopach, porosity, and net pay maps as well as maps displaying complex completion histories. Trend surface and residual analyses maps were also made using machine contouring. Expertise was gained in both regional and developmental geological assessments. Highly experienced in the use of Landmark's ZMAPP+ mapping program, Geoscene cross-sectioning software, Angstrom's Vortext relational database manager, DLPS log processing program, and Logscan digitizing package.
