I have been a private, independent practitioner since 1995. Additionally, *Worked along side an ophthalmologist providing medical eye care, *Worked as a contract doctor in a relief capacity at a private practice focusing on vision aspects of eye care, *Worked in a commercial, retail environment, *Work for a non-profit low vision organization, *considered working in a corporate hospital setting... each position allowed me to see the varied aspects of optometry and the diversity of the profession. I enjoy the challenge of each opportunity and strive to move from one mode of practice to the next with the varying demands.
