Undertake control system building activities to achieve agreed project milestones, by liaising with all Project Manager, E&I department and sub-contractors. Carry out the design and engineering of control system and software development in accordance with project specification and statutory requirements and take responsibility for all control system building and software development activities allocated by the Systems Manager.Prepare project schedule, resource planning and allocation, man hour estimation. Monthly reporting of department activities, resources, schedules and training needs.Site survey, raising technical queries, design and engineering for revamping of existing liquid or gas custody metering systems as per client requirement.Lead and support system engineers involved in the project to ensure that they understood all technical and commercial project specifications and these are interpreted and implemented correctly in the functional design specification and in design drawings.Carry out technical evaluation of allocated projects, identify problem areas and deviations and ensure all matters are discussed with Project Manager / Engineers and clarified in order to avoid delays.Conduct periodic reviews to ensure performance within set key parameters and address issues and concerns.Creating / Reviewing of Functional Design Specification, Acceptance Test manual, Installation, operation, maintenance manuals, other control system related documents as necessary.Procurement of control system materials in accordance with project technical and quality requirements.Develop liquid or gas metering application for panel or field mounted flow computers as per functional design specification and API, ISO, AGA, GPA standards.Programming and configuration of Allen Bradley PLC.Lead and carry out internal system testing, client FAT and skid integration testing with third party DCS or SCADA in accordance with the client reviewed Acceptance Test manual.
