While navigating the precious metals and commodities investment industry and running a custom cabinet business with her husband, she nurtured a parallel passion for helping others. She volunteered extensively, lent her writing skills to philanthropic causes, and ultimately became a foster parent, specifically caring for infants prenatally exposed to substances of abuse.🔹Making a Difference.Since moving to Victorville in 2003, Debra’s commitment to community has only grown. She co-founded the Adelanto Elementary School District's first Special Education Parent Advisory Committee, later serving two terms on the Governing Board.🔹A Respected Leader.Now in her fourteenth year of public office, Debra is known for her strong leadership, good governance practices, and her commitment to open communication and fairness. Her educational background is rooted in business management and mathematics.🔹A Committed Family Woman.Debra and her husband, Gene, have been married 41 years and attend church locally. They are proud parents of six grown children.
