With a background in international politics, public policy, and sustainable development, I have 20 years of experience in advancing public and civic innovation, smart and digital infrastructure, and tech-driven community economic impact.Prior to this role, I was the managing director of Smart Cities and Inclusive Innovation at Georgia Tech, where I developed and implemented a university-wide strategy for applied research for community impact. I also served as Pittsburgh's first Chief of Innovation & Performance, where I oversaw all technology, sustainability, performance, and innovation functions of the city government, and secured over $2.5M in grants for civic engagement, resilience, and information.
