-Oversight of strategic planning, coordinating, and administering the marketing and college recruitment efforts for System Talent Selection. -Oversight of System recruitment marketing initiatives and contracts associated with external recruitment, planning and executing special events, mailings, ads, eblasts, etc.-Maintain positive relations with colleges and universities in the region and nationally.

Co-managed the 2009 HFHS Remediation process. Developed a process and procedures for redeployment to match or place employees in approved jobs. Of those affected, 54% were placed and avoided layoff. Placement activities continue into 2010.Planned, executed and evaluated multiple System-wide, large-scale job fairs including venue selection and coordination, materials development, budget management, marketing and outreach, attendee registration and staffing for the event.Developed procedures around event access and flow, protocols for handling and tracking attendees, staff appearance and presentation and on-line attendee registration.Initiated and led development for the first ever “blitz” interviewing and hiring event. Received over 100 CNA candidates and hired 28, filling all open CNA positions for Henry Ford Hospital (900+ beds) in one day.Established a communications contact point for 32 colleges and universities related to career fairs, professional student outreach for consistent HFHS branding and improved sourcing of student grads.Prepare agendas, assembled presenters and led the monthly System Recruiters Forum, representing the 7 hospitals, 30 medical centers and long-term care facilities for the HFHS.Chair and manage the System Recruiters Workgroup (SRW), sub-group representatives of System Recruiters Forum. SRW manages the Careers website improvements, the annual plan for college recruiting, unique issues and recommendations for critical to fill jobs and System-wide outreach opportunities.

Managed the recruitment and employment for Allied Health and Corporate positions in over 30 SE MI locations. Supervise and develop a staff of 8 full time recruiters and associates in multiple locations Managed open positions, transfers, promotions and demotions for over 600 cost centers and for 200 job titles.

Developed and maintained a contractual relationship and budget for the first ever recruitment marketing agency for Corporate HR. Monitor HFHS ads and marketing materials for accuracy, appropriateness, cost and corporate vision. Developed and maintained a relationship with a new ATS, PeopleFlow, providing the first ever HFHS presence on the Internet. Co-managed the initial website build for content and eventual updates.

Recruit and hire nurses and nursing support staff for Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. -Hired 47 nurses between 10/1999 and 12/31/1999. (Goal was set by the CEO to hire 50 nurses by 12/1999 to address a critical shortage in multiple patient care departments.)-Planned and executed successful on-site job fairs for nursing and support positions.-Developed relationships with local college and university nursing programs. Participated in college job fairs and community job fairs significantly increasing and improving the visibility of HFWH as an employer of choice and care provider. Established HFHW excellence with local colleges in precepting new graduate nurses -Initiated and developed strong relationships between nursing departments and the CNO and HFWH Human Resources. -Streamlined the hiring process and cut new hire start dates by weeks.

Directed the corporate-wide support and administration of the auto and non-auto PPO programs (hospital/medical/surgical, lab, mental health, durable medical equipment/prosthetics & orthotics) to include program development, accreditation, care and quality management, marketing, program evaluations, provider networks access, provider and niche credentialing and selection. Managed the unit staff of 23 and the programs’ budgets of approximately $8M.
