Debra is an Emmy Award-winning Casting Director and Consultant with extensive experience. She loves the challenge of finding the perfect person for each role. Debra has cast projects which have garnered more than 400 nominations and more than 100 wins for Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes, Baftas and SAG awards.She has assembled casts for more than 500 hours of scripted television shows, over 30 feature films, video games, web series, and hundreds of theatrical productions. She has worked alongside many of Hollywood’s top producers and directors including, Jerry Bruckheimer, Brian Grazer, Kennedy/Marshall, Howard Gordon, Oliver Stone, David E. Kelley, Peter Berg, Darren Starr, Kathryn Bigelow, and Joel Silver. She has been a team leader on multiple multi-million dollar projects for Hulu, Netflix, HBO, Sony, Disney, ABC, CBS, NBC, FBC, CW, TNT, Paramount, Warner Bros., MGM, and 20th Century Fox. Reputation for creating and nurturing relationships with talent, and production teams. Committed to diverse, inclusive, authentic casting. Debra is a two-time Emmy Award Winner for Excellence in Casting and has three additional Emmy nominations. She has also been nominated 14 times for the Casting Society of America’s Artios Award (15th time may be the charm) She is also a guest lecturer for UCLA, USC, Loyola Marymount University, and, California Institute of the Arts.
