I worked for over 25 years in the private education sector, but naturopathy has always been a part of me. It encompasses all my values and convictions, so it was only natural that at some point I would find myself retraining in this field. I conduct my consultations in English and in French and my practice is in two physical-locations; Mauguio and Montpellier, both in France and online wherever you are.

I was responsible for the strategic direction and leadership on the development and delivery of a new generation of Teacher Professional Development programmes for face to face and online delivery. I developed and put in place a strategy which focused on ‘preparing the teacher of the day for the teaching of tomorrow’ and aimed to fully integrate all teacher training and support provided by Macmillan Education and its partners.

I took a lead role in providing pedagogical insight, guidance and support to all teams involved in the development, publication, sale and implementation of online, blended and adaptive learning. I worked with my editorial colleagues at the conceptualization and prototype stages of development of online and blended learning products and with the digital teams to advise on editorial, teaching, and learning needs and requirements for blended and online products. I also worked with colleagues to develop the research strategy for online and blended learning. .

I took a lead role in providing pedagogical insight, guidance and support to all teams involved in the development, publication, sale and implementation of online, blended and adaptive learning. I led the Online Solutions teacher training team working with sales teams to advise on and implement effective pedagogical models for online, blended and adaptive learning for and on behalf of customers.

I worked with sales teams in procuring business right through to the smooth running of new implementations with online and blended learning products. I also had an editorial/content development role with a focus on editorial project management.

I provided consultancy at initial conceptualisation stages of online projects, developed proof of concept structures and content, advised on the appropriate use of technology in teaching and learning, advised on pedagogy appropriate to online and blended language learning approachesdeveloped guidelines and parameters for the online content authoring teams, provided support and guidance to online editorial teams,wrote and edited content for online courses, developed teacher training materials (online and print) and developed and conducted teacher training courses (online and face to face).

I designed and developed syllabus and content for an English for Academic Purposes online course. I also designed and conducted teacher training for Chinese university lecturers (the CUTE project as part of the Sino-UK eLearning Programme - eChina UK), wrote EFL online course content for E@YFT (English at Your Fingertips) online courses and developed e-diagnostic language testing tools for EAP students.

I was responsible for the management, staffing and budgeting of the eLearning Team. This team had the specific remit to inform and enable the development and delivery of high-quality learning and teaching supported by eLearning technologies. I worked with senior teams to develop and implementation the University of Hull’s eLearning strategy and provide appropriate advice and guidance in all matters and at all levels with regard to eLearning@hull. I managed the delivery of staff development programmes in the pedagogical use of the University’s two learning environments, Merlin and Blackboard.

I was responsible for the management, staffing and budgeting of the Merlin Development Team. This team had the remit to promote and support the development and implementation of elearning across all disciplines, delivered via Merlin, the University of Hull’s web-based learning environment. I was also managed the provision of staff development and training for all University staff engaged in the use of Merlin to support their online learning initiatives and for the budget management of resources to ensure the continued development of the learning environment.

I was responsible for the day to day management of Project Merlin. This project was was carried out in collaboration with and funded by British Telecommunication plc. This project resulted in one of the very earliest online EFL courses delivered learners all over Europe. It also resulted in the development and cross-discipline implementation of the supporting platform, Merlin. Merlin was the University of Hull’s learning environment from 1997–2008.

I was responsible for the direction and staffing of the EFL support for overseas students at the University and the CTEFLA course (Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language) I also taught EFL at all levels and was lead tutor on the CTEFLA course

I taught EFL at all levels from intermediate to advanced. I also taught exam preparation classes (Cambridge First Certificate, Advanced and Proficiency)

I taught EFL at all levels, including exam preparation classes, wrote distance learning modules for Sheffield Hallam's distance taught diploma in TEFL and conducted teacher training on Sheffield Hallam’s Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL

I supported the Director of Studies in the management of the language school which comprised 20 staff and over 500 students. I also taught EFL at all levels, from beginners through to advanced learners and provided in-service teacher training or all new members of staff. I was also a support trainer on the CTEFLA course at the British Council in Cairo.

I taught EFL to undergraduate and postgraduate students across a range of disciplines.
