CurrentColonial Life / Plan for Life is a non-captive carrier. We are the 2nd largest voluntary benefits provider in the U. S. & a subsidiary of UNUM, a fortune 300 company. We consult & advise small businesses, corporations as well as public entities. In 1955, we pioneered worksite benefits via payroll deduction & offer an array of options when designing a plan. We do not charge the business/company for our plan. At times we also partner/appoint with other carriers who offer Health/Dental/Vision options so we can deliver a comprehensive A-Z plan. This includes the worksite market, communication of benefits, multi-state enrollments, & working with companies by combining a variety of benefits on a pre-tax basis. This allows my business/corporate clients to attract & retain key employees by offering enhanced benefits at "no cost to the company." This includes the implementation of consumer-driven healthcare programs including plan design, benefits communication, 1-on-1 counseling, core benefit enrollments of existing providers & an emphasis on customer service/client retention.
