Six years ago I started a new venture as a hobby, while continuing to do my work as CEO of Apprentice Systems, and that venture was a YouTube channel dedicated to video tutorials on high tech making for gaming and gamers. That channel today has over 100 project tutorials and 15k subscribers. In the process, I learned a lot about making videos as well as making things with laser cutters and 3D printers!When we dissolved our business at the end of 2022, and I decided to start a new channel dedicated to my new passion, AI, and specifically the LLMs that are currently turning our world upside down. This new technology has the ability to replace most of the applications we were developing as Apprentice Systems, and it can do it without writing any code, and with little to no cost. It is truly a game-changer!Now my focus is on making tutorials about how to use AI to solve real world problems. I show actual examples that viewers can replicate, getting immediate benefits. My first series is on using Claude 2 to write strategic plans and automate the generation of custom grant proposals. This capability alone has the potential to revolutionize the onerous grant writing process that has plagued 1.3 million nonprofits in the United States! And these same AI capabilities can transform resume writing, strategic plans for startups, and the process of seeking investors. I'm also developing strategies for using AI to generate custom legal briefs.My goal is to replicate all of the solutions we built at Apprentice Systems and much more. I'm doing this because I believe that "AI won't replace you, but people using AI will". I want to help people thrive in this brand new world where AI can become the ultimate productivity tool.
