I am a Real Estate Broker and co-owner of Details Realty Inc., Brokerage, with my husband Richard Keirans, Broker of Record, and I actively sell Real Estate.I am currently Past President of the Ottawa Real Estate Board (OREB) having served as it’s President in 2021. I was an OREB Director for two year term s during 2016-2017 and 2019-2020 (President elect in 2020) as well as having served on many committees over the years. Since 2016, I have organized and facilitated an annual Christmas Gifting Drive called “Christmas Giving for Chrysalis House” which is for women & their children who are fleeing domestic violence and staying in a local shelter. I was a founding Director of the Stittsville Business Association in 2018 and 2019.I became a REALTOR® in 2006, because I really enjoy the excitement of helping people look for and find that perfect home, and of getting their current home ready for sale, and then sold for top dollar. I enjoy the challenge of preparing for and negotiating all aspects of the sale or purchase. I pride myself on my expertise and experience in successfully bringing home buyers and sellers together throughout the city of Ottawa and the surrounding rural area.Prior to my career in real estate, I owned a small consulting firm, Sharing Wisdom & Knowledge Consulting Inc., through which I consulted on Aboriginal political issues - a profession that I had for more than 35 years. With this business I spent many years traveling across the country, to many of the remotest and most northern communities in Canada. I have met hundreds of wonderful people, seen much of our country's incredible beauty and have a lifetime of stories to tell. With advancing age and a family to raise, however, it was time to slow down a bit and stay closer to home for the day to day living, hence the switch in careers
