I oversaw all Human Resources functions throughout the North West group of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, including generalist HR functions, talent acquisition, training & development, diversity and inclusion initiatives, performance management, workforce relations, and legal compliance. I am responsible for providing strategic direction to Group Management regarding the best methods to plan for, manage, develop, and best utilise our employee workforce in line with business goals as well as recruiting, training and developing employees within the HR department itself.

Started as a Management Trainee at Enterprise-Rent-A-Car on the graduate management scheme. In this period I was promoted to Management Assistant then Assistrant Manager and finally held the position of Branch Manager for just under two and half years.As a Branch Manager my role was very diverse, dealing with all aspects of running the business on a day to day level as if it was my own, including maximising revenue and profits, developing an internal sales culture whilst minimising costs, servicing customer car rental requirements, sourcing vehicles from across the region when required, marketing new business and managing existing accounts at a local level, developing trainees’ careers and controlling debt collections,. I was responsible for developing overall fleet and management strategy for the branch, marketing, growth, retention and service strategies, with branch performance dictating my bonuses. As well as the resposibility for interviewing, hiring and training and performance managing my employees.
