As a BBSRC Policy Fellow I supported the Science Policy Team at the Royal Society of Biology in their ongoing work. I provided administrative and project support to the team, attending a variety of committees and contributing to team output. My main activities were to:Coordinate a House of Lords Consultation ResponseLiaise with Member Organisations within the Royal Society of Biology and their associated policy teams.Gather Evidence via extensive desk research of policy documents and briefings.Maintain Consultation Records, update documents and review drafts.Send out Enquiry Correspondence.Organise a Working Group Discussion with Policy Representatives.Attend Westminster to shadow the Director of Parliamentary Affairs.Represent the Society at External Events.Write Briefings and Articles for Website Content, Newsletters and Publications
