Ensured continual alignment between the RAF Board Chair and the CPO.Championed the Chief Executive's and CPO’s agenda in driving through key priorities such as: 👉Overseeing the implementation of RAF-wide cultural and behavioural change, creating a seismic change regarding diversity and inclusivity. 👉Coordinating immensely challenging strategic workforce planning for the Government’s Integrated Review 2021, achieving an affordable, sustainable and effective workforce. Continually acted as the CPO’s sounding board, confidant and ‘eyes & ears’. On transformation programmes communicated the CPO’s intent and ensured understanding by a full and often complex array of stakeholders.Regularly attended meetings to deputise for the CPO, using delegated authority to make decisions on their behalf.Led the team (of 6) which directly supported the CPO. Galvanised them and ensured their skills were used effectively. Enhanced the impact, energy and effect of the CPO by providing the team and each person in it, clarity on their role. In the absence of the CPO led a 950-strong multi-disciplinary organisation that provided the supporting policies to enable an agile, adaptable and capable workforce of 31,500. Communicated daily with the Executive team (of 5) to provide clarity and ensure alignment, using influence and highly effective organisational skills to lead on behalf of the CPO.
