Led Segway tours of Lancaster City. Taught customers how to glide on Segways. Researched fun facts and interesting stories for the Ghosts and Graveyards Tour and the Art and Architecture Tour. Wrote various creative blog posts from the perspective of "PT," a Segway personal transporter.

Researched, cultivated, and solicited private foundations and government sources. Wrote and edited grant proposals, securing grants of more than $5 million over 5 years. Wrote all grant reports and communicated regularly with foundation donors to a nonpartisan, nonsectarian research and public education organization dedicated to strengthening families and civil society in the U.S. and the world.
