Students learn about the differences between songbirds and raptors, explore owl adaptations, dissect owl pellets, identify the bones in each pellet, assemble a creature with the bones, and identify animal skulls (wolf, coyote, minx, racoon, beaver, and muskrat).I corresponded with teachers to schedule and organize workshops.I also contributed to the creation of activities and content.Through investigative workshops, Scientists in School enables students in Kindergarten to Grade 8 to become scientists. The program sparks students' interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), environmental stewardship and engineering.
