Opportunity International provides access to savings, small business loans, insurance and training to over four million people, working their way out of poverty, in 20 countries through owned financial institutions and NGOs. Total Assets held on a Global basis total $750M, and Gross Loan Portfolio of $515M.• Generated Monthly financial packages, operational performance analysis and ad hoc financial analysis for Opportunity’s 13 majority-owned microfinance banks, and Quarterly financial reporting packages for Opportunity’s 16 minority-owned microfinance institutions and 17 Nongovernmental Organization (NGOs).• Generated monthly product reporting packages for donor communications of the fundraising teams, which reported 3M active loans, 1.1M active savings accounts, and a savings portfolio of $108M.• Managed Excel & Hyperion Essbase systems to consolidate and analyze financial performance and budget variance for Opportunity’s banks and NGOs on a global basis, including 32 foreign currencies.• Provided financial analysis support to the senior management teams of Opportunity as well as Opportunity-owned microfinance institutions.• Liaised with the funding members of Opportunity to generate the consolidated view of the operating budgets, actual performance and program/country funding.• Implemented the consolidation of Hyperion Essbase cubes, to enhance the accuracy, quality and timeliness of reporting. • Supervised the upload of financial and product data by the portfolio microfinance institutions, checked for data integrity and provided assistance with resolving imbalances.• Managed Hyperion database to analyze and report profitability, efficiency and cost effectiveness of microfinance institutions using ratio, statistical and trend analysis
