Celebrate Wellness was a startup wellness event business focused on community-building and teaching healthy, sustainable ways of practicing a healthy lifestyle using various self-care strategies. In-person program content featured local, experienced health & wellbeing practitioners. Conceptualized, founded and managed the business, designed program content and recruited presenters. Closed in 2020 due to the Pandemic.

Oversaw fundraising and community-building among parents, alumni and friends of this independent Waldorf high school, included annual giving, planning and managing fundraising and donor cultivation events, and compilation and design of the school's annual report. Met the stated goals for the academic year. Resigned due to a necessary family relocation.

Deb’s Village was a web directory and community-building platform that supported a collaborative membership of health and wellbeing practitioners and their potential clients. Emphasis was placed on general education around health and wellbeing, as well as connecting potential clients with local healing professionals. Established the company, conceived and managed the development of the platform, and marketed memberships to wellness practitioners in the Boston area.

Website and email newsletter service encouraging lunch break activities in high density work neighborhoods. Founder responsible for editorial content and marketing. Successfully launched in Boston’s Back Bay and Financial District neighborhoods. Company was sold a year later.

Inspired by grandparents seeking quality educational gifts for their grandchildren, this site thoughtfully reviewed and promoted hundreds of products. Conceptualized and managed the development of the website. Received all requests for reviews, and managed all editorial aspects of the business, including careful and objective review-writing. Developed, managed and promoted successful annual award program for selected products.

Created and led the new team supporting grassroots global community of patients and supporters that raised more than $1.5 initially, despite the dot com crash. Early stage employee and a key member of the startup's operations leadership. Helped to build new systems to support rapid institutional growth.
