Product Launches • Review customer SOR’s, contracts and change requests as required and ensure that the necessary criteria and provisions are included in quality and control plans • Establishment and monitoring of customer part portals for APQP and quality reports. • Support of internal APQP tasks such as process documentation, gauge planning and acquisition, gauge installation and R&R, and data collection for significant characteristics. • Design and implement methods of testing and inspection.Current Production • Support of change management activities, quality alerts, and customer concerns as they relate to risk reduction and detection of pass through characteristics. • Serve as a quality department resource to department supervisor(s) for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.• Manage in-process PV testing and capability reviews• Maintain access to customer web sites and databases to assure compliance to customer specific requirements including PRR, QR, or other customer issue notifications. • Report to management on quality issues, trends and losses.Customer Support• Problem solving analysis and reporting on field returns. Such analysis includes visual, mechanical, dimensional and metallurgical characteristics. Use analysis to determine root cause driving corrective/preventive actions.• Prepare PPAP packages as required for change management

Responsible for development and implementation of the Quality Plan, Quality process audits, internal Quality system audits (ISO 9001-2000), initiating defective PPM reduction and corrective actions on a high volume assembly operation producing commercial HVAC systems. . Involved in the Product Development Process (PDP) on new projects, providing input on requirements and completion of process FMEA's. This includes four assembly lines and a coil fabrication department. This role includes the direct Supervision of two Quality Auditors and two QA Inspectors.
