I am currently seeking employment in finance, operations management or information technology, however I have over 15 years of experience in several varied areas of management and am currently an online student at Colorado Technical University with a major in Information Technology but have been also studying financial accounting and project management scheduled to graduate in Fall of 2015.Transferable skills, logic, adaptability and varied work experiences have given me valuable insight to what it takes to be successful in business as an individual and as part of a team. I have managed and directed a staff of fifteen individuals in various positions and am able to multi-task and have computer skills which include extensive knowledge of all MS Office 2003, 2007 and ‘10 programs including MS Project, Access, Excel, Outlook, PeopleSoft, OneNote, Adobe Acrobat Professional and more. Other activities include working knowledge of risk management and insurance, employee relations, organizational and process development, marketing and data analysis, desktop publishing and website maintenance, Internet protocol and security. My writing skills are quite advanced but can be easily understood, as in the writing of SOP’s, grants, desk procedures and policies as well as preparation of press releases and special reports. I have had experience with mass media marketing, statistical analysis and data mining to create effective reporting and planning, business forecasting and project development.
