We have homemakers, home health aides, certified nurses assistants, LPN's, and RN's on our registry to provide care matching the skill level required by the care recipient. Our services include housekeeping, transportation, respite care for family caregivers, meal preparation, laundry, and hands on care with the activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, dressing, transferring and toileting. After a complimentary home assessment, Visiting Angels will introduce the care recipient to a caregiver that best meets the skill level of the client. Region represented $1billion book of business. Exceeded 2005 Regional goal with Network Improvement Plan creating savings of over $7million. (Through provider education, re-contracting and necessary network reductions.) Met 2006 goal of $4million in savings. Increased EDI submissions by 27% from 2004 to 2005. Over 30% in 2006. Part of Medicare Expansion Team adding 4 additional counties to Region’s Medicare Market. Developed “best practice” for claims project resolution and settlements—a process now being implemented in a Wellcare "expansion" state (Georgia). Developed additional educational pieces for in-servicing and provider orientations. “Perfect Packet” & Power Point Presentation. Assisted with the revision of the Wellcare Provider Manual and content of Provider Web Tool. Continued building and developing relationships with key community/provider partners…FQHC’s; Health Departments; YMCA, Department of Health Services, IPA's etc. Continue to improve HEDIS compliance through provider education. Member of MAC (Medical Advisory Committee) AAAHC accreditation preparation team. Network Development for Medicaid & Healthy Kids products for counties included in the "Tampa/Gulf" Region.=Served as liaison between Plan and Pinellas County Health/Social Services Indigent Program.  Developed position of Claims Analyst for Department to assist Provider Relations Reps with Provider servicing issues.
